    Helping Hand Center

Feb 8, 2014 Organized for our Cub Scouts, I helped to lead the boys [and our baby] to meet, visit and entertain the residents of one of the Helping Hand group homes. More information: http://www.hhrehab.org/mission.html RESIDENTIAL HOUSING We offer multiple housing options for adults with disabilities. Our housing options emphasize independence and community integration. From independent living to 24 hour supervision, we can accommodate an individual's needs. Our housing options include: Independent Living – Spacious, affordable rental units are offered in apartment settings. Individuals can purchase life skills support services as necessary. Supportive Living – We offer services to help support individuals in their own homes. Services can include self-advocacy, household skills, self-care, transportation, financial management, social networking and more. 24-Hour Assisted Living – Fully supervised group living allows individuals to live with their peers and develop a support system while continuing to maximize their independence. Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) – This facility features 24-hour staff supervision for sixteen individuals. The Department of Public Health determines an individual's eligibility for this setting. Typically, these individuals have greater medical needs than can be met in other living arrangements. Individualized Arrangements – Helping Hand will work with you in exploring alternative housing options and support services.
